Distribution of stationery to school students

Let us keep the light on!

Hussain Ali Omid Hazaristani, a dedicated volunteer member of the Homa Foundation, despite working and living in difficult conditions as a migrant laborer in Tehran, made great efforts to collect and send educational materials. He prepared and sent three packages containing 80 notebooks, 240 colored pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and a number of children’s books to the boys’ schools of Almitoo and Shahyar Sultan Girls’ School.

In the next phase, he also collected and sent the following materials:

  1. Eighty stationery kits (four cartons), each containing a 100-page notebook, a set of colored pencils, three pencils, a sharpener, an eraser, and a ruler, donated by a printing house in Tehran;
  2. 50 textbooks for grades 7 to 10, donated by Ms. Moshtaq, an Iranian writer;
  3. Two sets of children’s story books (a total of 40 volumes);
  4. 30 additional notebooks purchased with his personal expenses.

The Homa Foundation deeply appreciates Mr. Omid’s efforts and, while expressing gratitude to him, also extends its best wishes for health and a blessed life to all those who contributed books and stationery to the education of Almitoo

Similarly, Mr. Ali Mohammad Yaqoobi and Ms. Zahra Wahidi, students of the American University of Afghanistan, donated a package of stationery to the Homa Foundation for distribution among Almitoo school students. The package included:

  1. Five packs of 12 notebooks (60 pages each);
  2. One box of 50 BEK pens;
  3. Two packs of 30 erasers;
  4. One box of 50 pencil sharpeners;
  5. Five boxes of 12 pencils.

The Homa Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to them as well.
