Construction of six additional classrooms for Almitoo’s Boys' School
In the spring of 2021, the Homa Foundation decided to address the shortage of classrooms by constructing six additional rooms for the Almitoo Boys’ School. To move forward, the foundation completed the necessary legal procedures with both government and community institutions and then issued a public call for support. This call was met with a strong community support. In the first step, a donor named Dr. Esmatullah Rasouli took on the cost of building two classrooms, while other donors contributed cash donations for the construction of the remaining four rooms across two floors. The Homa Foundation carried out the project with full care and transparency and, upon completion, handed it over to the Almitoo education authorities
Dr. Esmatullah Rasouli’s contribution toward the construction of two classrooms
Dr. Ismatullah Rasuli, a neurologist in Kabul and a volunteer member of the Homa Foundation, after receiving a call to build classrooms, undertook the cost of building two classrooms in support of the education and in memory of his parents. In fact, he took the first serious step in supporting the education of Al-Mito, which was initiated by the Homa Foundation. He donated 284000 Afghanis to the Homa Foundation and spent another 46,000 Afghanis to provide wood for the ceilings of the classrooms. This great step was commendable and appreciated by the Homa Foundation and for the education of Almitoo.
